questions
good to know.
How much does postage cost?
Because a magnet is rigid, USPS adds a non-machinable surcharge to each envelope. At current rates that comes to about $1.27 per piece. We'll let you know the weight of your finished card so you can confirm postage before you head to the post office.
What size envelope do we need?
Envelopes aren't included, so you can pick a color or style that matches your wedding. Each save the date is a 5x7 card, which fits a standard A7 envelope (5.25" x 7.25").
How far ahead should we order?
Save the dates usually go out 6 to 8 months before the wedding. Plan on about a week for design and proofing, then three weeks for printing after you approve.
What kind of photo works best?
A clear, well-lit photo where your faces aren't too small. Engagement photos are perfect, and a favorite phone photo works great too. We'll let you know if a crop won't print well.
